Additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, heritage restorations or just any general renovation are the services that we provide. I completed my apprenticeship in the oldest and most challenging renovation areas in Ottawa such as New Edenburgh, Sandy Hill, Hintonburg, the Glebe, Westboro and Rockcliffe. My goal is: To help clean up the confusion concerning residential renovation practices. To promote integrity in renovation industry through honesty and professionalism. To make a clear statement - I live in the area where I work. TRAINING - To utilize students from co-operative high school programs; I am currently training apprentices registered with the Apprenticeship Program offered through Algonquin College. What is a certified carpenter? He or she is not limited by having training in only certain aspects of renovation and takes part in every phase of the building of the structure. Training: Rough Carpentry - covering the major basic parts of a house including concrete forms and scaffoldings. Finish Carpentry - including siding, flooring, cabinets (installation), stairs, windows, doors and finishing of interior walls and ceilings.
